I've found with many years study that different
subjects, for myself, seem to reach out to different
mediums depending on the feelings I wish to convey.
For example, the lightness of watercolor, the softness
of pastel, the directness of graphite, the intensity of
acrylic. With oils, it's the depth and richness of color.

As an artist and interior designer, I've worked in several
different mediums, Ink, Watercolor, Oil and Acrylics and many
times combine two or more in a painting. I''ve studied art and
design at Wayne State University, Ruth Janes' studios in Detroit
and Fox Valley Tech in Wisconsin.
I'm fascinated by line and the many nuances of color that
describe the feeling I want the viewer to experience.
